Gitgit waterfall is the most famous waterfall in Bali and its beautifull tourist destination in north of Bali.
The Gitgit Waterfall is on the edge of the Highway Denpasar - Bedugul - Singaraja .The Waterfall is 300 meters above sea level and often visited by tourists, it can get very busy. The Gitgit Waterfall is located in the village Gitgit, Sukasada District, Buleleng regency. Waterfall Gitgit is located between villages and clove plantations. All 3 series of cascades are on the same watershed. They have separate parking spots, all close together. Roads and stairs are well maintained, making it easier to visit. On the side of the road that passes the waterfall, there are several souvenir shops. Along the way you also see many small children who try to sell beads. You will also find a lot of guides trying to show you the way!
The Gitgit waterfall consists of several waterfalls with different shapes and heights. Halfway along the way the scene changes and on both sides you can see coffee and clove trees. It is a refreshing experience to walk in this quiet area where the birds take turns to sing. The air is cool and gradually gets colder when you approach the waterfall. A short distance from the waterfall, the fine water spray will cool your body. Sometimes the atmosphere will become misty.
It is one of the main water and temple shivaite in Bali. The temple complex is located on the shores of Lake Bratan, in the mountains near Bedugul. This temple, built in 1663, is used for the ceremony of water offerings, the lake and the goddess of the Dewi Danu river to the Balinese. As most adventurers who are heading to Bali would know, Munduk is an area full of natural beauty, especially in the waterfall department. Look out for the stalls on the side of the streets selling their locally grown durian and other fruits.
Brahmavira Arama Buddhist Monastery is the perfect place for a serene Buddhist Monastery in Bali. Buddhist Monastery Bali located at Tegehe hamlet, the village of Banjar, near Lovina, in Buleleng Regency. Perched on a slope of a hill, Brahmavira Arama Buddhist Temple and Monastery rise majestically overlooking a sea with lush green hill as a background. It’s located 1,5 km to east from Banjar Hot Springs.
The monastery (Brahma Vihara Arama) was built in 1970 by locals financing by Indonesian and also aids of Thailand government, and it’s consecrated in 1972. It has been damaged by earthquake in 1976. The new Stupa has been repaired and is decorated with splendidly colorful confection.
The temple complex enjoys a wonderful hillside setting such as brilliant orange tile roof stand over an entrance gate guarded by fine two Naga, with bell tower in the corner of middle courtyard. Every step’s up to the temple has Buddha wisdom also around the walls.
A lower temple with a gold Buddha is from Thailand as a centerpiece, carved stone plaques showing scene from Buddha’s life on all the main temple, and colorful Buddhist to the left of the top temple. Further up you’ll see the founder of the temple next to it is several big Stupas, in this part is the most interesting of the monastery, and magnet for pilgrimages. It well knows as Vihara Buddha Banjar, is biggest Buddhist temple in Bali. It is located at a hilly area at Tehege Village, Desa Banjar, Buleleng Regency about 22 km west of Singaraja city. Due to its location in a hilly area, Brahmavihara Arama has a silent and peaceful atmosphere and it’s perfect as a spiritual area.
the famous Banjar Holy springs are located in the hills of Banjar village, surrounded by lush tropical gardens. The water, considered "holy" by the locals, has a pleasant temperature of 38° C and has a sulfur content of 26% which is perfect for healing (healing process). There are three main pools.
Eight fierce-faced carved stone animals pour water from a natural hot spring into the first bath, which then overflows into a second and third larger pool. In the third pool, water pours from 3-meter-high to give you a pummeling massage.
